Jakarta, May 27, 2022 – PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) has received an award from the 13th IICD Corporate Governance (CG) Awards 2022 held by the Indonesia Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD) and BeritaSatu Media Holdings. Ranked in the top 50 issuers with biggest market capitalization (Big Cap), BFI Finance also gained acknowledgement as the company with the best practices of corporate governance. The awards ceremony was held offline under tight health protocols at Financial Hall, Graha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta (May 27).
An assessment had been conducted previously to 200 issuers listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The assessment was divided into two groups, namely for 100 issuers with the biggest market capitalization (Big Cap) and 100 issuers with medium market capitalization (Mid Cap), and was backed by 10 assessors whose work are based on the Asean CG Scorecard.
BFI Finance is constantly committed to implementing five principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The five principles are transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness and equality.
